Job summary

Rentokil is hiring a Field Sales Representative in Olympia, WA or Portland, OR to grow our bird and bat deterrent services. You will learn inspections to identify infestations and prepare proposals to win sales contracts for commercial and industrial properties.

The role includes lead generation, coordinating with Account Executives, and traveling across WA, OR, ID, and MT (expenses covered). A valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma are required; prior sales

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Familiar with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• 6–12 months related experience in sales preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic math for rates and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Attends company training programs and accompanies others during ride-alongs to learn job skills.
• Recording accurate measurements and writing descriptions of inspected properties.
• Preparing specs and treating instructions per laws, regulations, and policy.
• Calculating job costs from pricing instructions.
• Executing contracts on behalf of the company.
• Maintaining equipment and safety gear.
• Learning sales techniques and product knowledge to sell deterrent services.
• Interacting courteously with customers and ensuring clean premises.
