Job summary

Spectrum, a Charter Communications brand, is seeking a Manager, Business Sales to lead a high-performing B2B sales team in Austin. You will mentor Account Executives, drive quotas, and ensure outstanding customer experiences.

The role focuses on field leadership (80%), developing territory plans, and coaching on tools, processes and product updates while maintaining accurate reporting and a strong knowledge of Spectrum offerings.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals.
• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with a focus on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
• Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.
• Spend 80% of your time in the field supporting your team and 20% handling office responsibilities and administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive team territory plan while setting and monitoring individual sales goals using Spectrum’s systems and tools.
• Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency.
• Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, process and product updates.
• Recruit, train and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations, performance reviews and ensuring training compliance.
• Oversee daily funnel activity for individual sales representatives, including contacts, presentations and sales.
• Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings, marketplace trends and competitive landscape, while building positive relationships with customers and partners.
