Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027 offers hands-on exposure to field sales and commercial operations within an assigned territory. Interns work alongside experienced sales leaders on strategic priorities, building market insights and retailer relationships.

The program runs June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027, with hourly pay of $30. Interns must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor's program with expected graduation Dec 2027–May 2028 and be legally

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights and drive recommendations.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
