Job summary

The role requires three years of tile/stone sales experience, a professional demeanor, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• College Degree or Equivalent Design Degree.
• Three (3) years of sales experience in tile/stone, builder, or design industries.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Driver's License (must provide current MVR).
• Knowledge of tile and stone characteristics.
• Proven sales record and high sales aptitude.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
• Professional phone, email, and computer skills.
• Polished appearance and friendly, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Bedrosians product lines.
• Work independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals and directives.
• Service existing accounts with the goal of nurturing relationships and increasing sales.
• Identify and set up new accounts to increase market share.
• Maintain professionalism in all business affairs.
• Provide the highest level of customer service by processing orders and credits promptly.
• Set up and maintain client displays and merchandising samples.
• Keep clients informed about new products and offerings through presentations.
• Resolve client concerns and complaints by developing viable and fair solutions.
• Report all sales activities to the branch manager or designated sales supervisor.
• Monitor competition by gathering pricing, products, and merchandising information.
• Maintain and increase professional knowledge by reviewing literature and attending seminars.
• Provide clients with current pricing, product changes, and order status.
• Conduct cold calls and visit job sites to pursue new leads.
• Visit job sites to observe and record issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Promote Bedrosians products at tradeshows and events.
• Analyze client needs, growth patterns, and market trends.
• Meet monthly sales plan.
• Participate in weekly branch meetings and company sales meetings.
• Maintain, service and regularly clean company vehicle.
• Multitask and prioritize work within company policies and directives.
• Any other duties required of the position.
