Job summary

Distribution International in Mobile, AL, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive territory growth and deliver exceptional service to customers. You will expand sales, manage accounts, and prepare quotes, using the CRM to track activities and opportunities.

Overnight travel up to 75% is required in this safety-sensitive role. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and CRM experience is helpful along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required for company travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an outside sales representative selling business to business.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Overnight travel is required.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers in the territory.
• Increase sales revenues and margins through effective territory management.
• Expand sales volume and profits by calling on new and existing customers.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product/industry presentations.
