Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will primarily drive profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Learn the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition, and competitive position through training and self-study.
  • Implement the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, stay informed of sales quotas, and meet targets.
  • Manage your assigned account list, organize clients by segment and opportunity, research decision-makers, build calling lists, make calls, and maintain CRM data.
  • Promote new account development, conduct prospecting calls, participate in industry events, and present products/services to generate interest.
  • Grow existing customer business by maintaining client relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Identify gaps where current products do not meet client needs, work with Product Managers on product enhancements, and manage client expectations.
  • Increase market share by identifying opportunities and engaging at the management and executive levels.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently, collaborate with colleagues, and address account/channel conflicts.
  • Develop an annual business plan, maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, and participate in regular reporting.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS sales experience without a degree.

Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, experience with software/SaaS, developing prospect lists, meeting/exceeding sales targets, creating business plans, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.

Skills & Abilities: Consultative sales approach, self-motivated, capable within a matrix organization, recognized with sales awards, formal sales training, flexible schedule, excellent facilitation skills.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range varies by state, e.g., CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
