Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Learn the full line of Tax & Accounting products—features, benefits, pricing, use cases, value proposition, and competitive positioning—by attending training programs and completing self-study activities.
  • Implement the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, meet sales quotas, and stay informed of updates.
  • Manage your assigned account list to support a healthy sales pipeline, including researching contacts, building calling lists, making calls, and maintaining information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Promote new account development through prospecting, meetings, industry events, and presentations to generate interest and expand the customer base.
  • Grow existing customer business by maintaining contact, understanding client needs, and demonstrating the value of WK solutions.
  • Contribute to product development and issue resolution by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers to translate client needs into product enhancements.
  • Increase TAA market share by identifying opportunities within target accounts and engaging at management and executive levels.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently, including in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and marketing information, and work with sales teams to resolve conflicts.
  • Develop an annual business plan, forecast, and report on progress regularly.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of relevant software/SaaS sales experience without a degree.

Experience: At least 5 years in B2B sales, with experience in software/SaaS, prospecting, meeting/exceeding sales targets, and using CRM tools like Salesforce.com or SalesLogix.

Skills & Certifications: Proficiency in consultative sales, working independently, within matrix organizations, with a record of sales awards, formal sales training, flexibility, and facilitation skills.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
