SPEC Building Materials Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of building materials, is seeking an Outside Sales professional in Wichita, KS. You will prospect new accounts, maintain relationships, and promote the full SPEC product line.

This full-time role requires strong communication, math, and time-management skills, plus a valid driver’s license. You’ll meet sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and work in person Monday to Friday with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience selling building materials to contractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math, time management and computer skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Customer service oriented with presentation and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new accounts through cold calling, providing leads, and networking.
• Meet and exceed pre‑determined sales goals.
• Maintain existing customer base with excellent customer service.
• Understand and advise customers on the products and services that SPEC Building Materials offers.
• Maintain good relationships with our valued vendors.
