Job summary

CHC Hydro seeks an Outside Sales Engineer to drive market expansion in the Mesa, AZ region. You will engage directly with commercial customers, interpret bid documents, and craft tailored engineered equipment solutions to close deals.

The role emphasizes field sales, travel across the territory, and building long-term customer relationships, with a compensation package including commissions and ownership opportunities. Candidates should have HVAC and construction experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in combined inside/outside sales in hydronic equipment, HVAC distribution, manufacturing, or fabrication.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and commercial construction negotiation.
• Experience reading construction bid documents and generating proposals.

Responsibilities

• Spend 60%+ of time in the field securing new accounts and growing relationships.
• Manage commercial engineered equipment sales from design to closing.
• Interpret bid documents and generate technical proposals/quotations.
• Maintain sales pipeline and customer data in CRM systems.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and monitor competitor activity.
