Job summary

Applied Test Systems seeks an Outside Sales Engineer for the Midwest (IL and surrounding states). You will travel to customer sites, present engaging demonstrations, and work with our sales team to grow the customer base.

Requirements include 2+ years in technical sales, a technical or engineering degree, and strong problem-solving with MS Office; Salesforce familiarity is a plus. Willingness to travel ~75% and implement tailored solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree, preferably technical.
• 2+ years in technical sales (inside or outside).
• Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce familiarity a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with current customers while actively generating new business.
• Provide excellent customer service using technical knowledge to meet client needs and solve problems.
• Travel regularly to meet clients (approximately 75%).
• Collaborate with experienced sales engineers and receive comprehensive training.
