Job summary

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Coordinator to support its field sales team with order coordination and superior service. This full-time hourly position requires flexibility in hours and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will handle pricing inquiries, process orders, prepare quotes, monitor shipping dates, and provide prompt, professional assistance to customers and contractors. Knowledge of lumber and building materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely support to the outside sales team, members of the inside sales team and/or to customers.
• Handle incoming phone calls, emails and questions regarding pricing, availability, delivery, backorders, specifications, returns and order placements.
• Monitors scheduled shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite, as needed.
• Intake customer and contractor issues and delegate handling, as necessary and assist in investigating and resolving the issue within company guidelines.
• Create and provide Quotes and estimates from the salesperson to the customers and contractors.
• Order products for contractors and vendors
• Assist Outside Sales Representatives to improve productivity and efficiency
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
