Job summary

Marmon is seeking a Sales Representative – Big Timber in Michigan/ northern Ohio, with travel to PA & IN as needed. This entry-level developmental role works alongside an experienced Territory/Regional Sales Manager to learn relationship-based selling, account management, and field sales execution.

This role targets recent graduates or motivated individuals who want to grow professionally, develop strong communication skills, and build a long-term career in sales.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Experience in sales is a plus and considered.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic sales calls on lumber yards, distribution partners, and end-user customers within the assigned market.
• Support the Territory Manager in growing account penetration and protecting existing business.
• Assist with seasonal co-op shows, sales blitzes, and launches in other Big Timber markets as needed.
• Help execute dealer programs, merchandising, and on-site enablement at key locations.
• Follow up on leads from events and inquiries to turn interest into field activity.
