Job summary

MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG is seeking a field-based sales professional responsible for developing and executing territory plans to meet annual budgets in aerospace, automotive and medical sectors.

You will identify growth opportunities, train and manage distributor partners, and deliver on-site tooling performance analyses to reduce cycle times and improve part quality. Travel up to 50% is required as you present value-based solutions, demonstrate TCO savings, and expand MAPAL's tooling

Qualifications

• Education mix of hands-on metal cutting manufacturing experience, military, or formal education in a technical discipline.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code), tool geometry, and metallurgy.
• Minimum of five years of cutting tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve annual sales budgets for the assigned territory.
• Identify and capture new growth opportunities in aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors.
• Promote, train and manage MAPAL products to local authorized distributor network partners.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges involving milling, turning, and hole-making/ hole-finishing.
• Conduct on-site tool testing and performance analysis to reduce cycle times and improve part quality.
• Demonstrate total cost of ownership (TCO) savings to procurement and engineering teams at end-user customers.
