Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic Field Safety Technician to identify and mitigate risks and develop safety controls at one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States.

You will work with a diverse safety team to strengthen culture, communicate safety directives, and drive corrective actions across the plant while supporting ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Health & Safety experience in workplace safety programs.
• Academic training in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional safety designation (ASP, GSP, CSP, etc.) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between field operations and senior management.
• Deliver clear safety communications via digital and verbal channels.
• Support the EHS&S department to strengthen safety culture.
• Oversee contractor and internal employee safety activities and adherence to standards.
• Conduct initial incident investigations and document findings for analysis.
