Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic Field Safety Technician to identify and mitigate risks, build safety controls, and strengthen hazard awareness across a world‑leading semiconductor facility in Austin, TX. You will join a diverse safety team focused on culture, communication, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years in health & safety, a related degree, and professional safety credentials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Health & Safety experience in workplace safety programs.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional safety designation (ASP, CSP, GSP, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between field operations and senior management.
• Deliver safety communications via digital and verbal channels.
• Identify hazards and implement control programs across the plant.
• Lead initial incident investigations and document findings for analysis.
• Oversee safety performance and audits to ensure best practice standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of safety programs and policies.
