Job summary

Heluna Health is seeking a Program Supervisor to provide in‑field supervisory presence for the Community Safety Ambassador Team in San Francisco. This temporary, grant‑funded, full‑time, on‑site role includes shift scheduling, timesheet approval, and inventory management.

You will mentor staff, coordinate outreach with Neighborhood partners and city stakeholders, and ensure safety and policy compliance while delivering trauma‑informed services to people in need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a similar field and at least one year of job‑related experience working with PEH or very vulnerable populations.
• Associate’s Degree in social work, psychology, or a similar field and at least two years of job‑related experience working with PEH or very vulnerable populations.
• 5 years of work experience in a community outreach setting.
• 2 years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program operations including the deployment of Ambassador Teams in the assigned Service Area(s).
• Maintain a consistent and visible field presence alongside Ambassador teams, during varied shifts and days to ensure comprehensive operational oversight on‑scene support.
• Promote the mission, vision, and core values of Heluna Health and the Community Safety Ambassador Program.
• Adopt a trauma‑informed approach to de‑escalation, service linkage and community interactions.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure program staff adopts successful best practices.
• Promote dignity, respect and accountability.
• Coordinate programmatic, administrative and fiscal activities.
• Serve as liaison between HQ and Clients/Program Partners.
