Job summary

BELFOR Environmental is seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to protect employees, subcontractors, and sites in Colorado. You will promote a culture of safety by proactive hazard identification and ensuring federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting site walkthroughs, toolbox talks, training oversight, PPE management, EPA RRP program duties, and hazard material sampling support. OSHA 30, valid license, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Construction, property restoration or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the safety of the office and employees.
• Conduct daily/weekly walkthroughs to identify hazards.
• Visit job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA/state/local regulations.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor employee safety training completion and comprehension.
• Intervene in unsafe practices and correct deficiencies.
• Maintain PPE inventories and safety documentation.
• Oversee EPA RRP program compliance and documentation.
• Serve as point-of-contact for hazardous materials sampling requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations per guidance from RSM/HSD.
• Assist in MSHA inspections and regulatory audits.
• Monitor environmental monitoring equipment and IH data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
