Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Professional safety certification (ASP or GSP) preferred.
• 2+ years in safety management or 5 years in related safety roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walk-through inspections to ensure safety standards.
• Identify and document hazardous conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare safety documentation and inspection reports.
• Plan inspections with Safety Manager and manage safety supplies.
• Assist in investigations of injuries and property damage.
• Issue safe work permits for operations like confined space entry.
• Support federal, state, and local safety inspections.
• Onboard and train new hires and deliver ongoing safety training.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations.
