Phillips Infrastructure seeks a Safety Specialist to join our field-based team and support the Safety Manager in enforcing safety protocols across project sites. The role involves frequent travel, inspections, training delivery, and documentation to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes hazard identification, incident investigations, and coordination of safety permits while maintaining current knowledge of applicable regulations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Professional safety certification (ASP or GSP) preferred.
• 2+ years of safety management experience or 5+ years in related safety roles.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Mansioni

• Conduct regular walk-through inspections to ensure safety standards.
• Identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in safety documentation and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with Safety Manager to plan inspections and trainings.
• Assist investigations of injuries and property damage with data and reports.
• Issue safe work permits (e.g., confined space) as needed.
• Support federal, state, and local safety inspections.
• Deliver onboarding and ongoing safety training to staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
