Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Safety Specialist I to support safety programs across multiple lines of business.

This hourly role partners with employees and management to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce workplace risks through trainings, inspections, and incident investigations. Responsibilities include conducting new-hire safety orientation, participating in inspections, tracking corrective actions, and delivering toolbox

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred; 1–3 years related experience.
• Prior experience in safety, construction or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing safety programs, policies and onboarding.
• Participate in routine safety inspections and site-specific safety planning.
• Track and support corrective actions; maintain safety records and training documentation.
• Support incident investigations and document findings for injuries, property damage, and near-miss events.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and safety trainings.
• Observe work practices and coach on safe work behaviors and regulatory compliance.
