Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is hiring a Field Safety Specialist I to support safety program implementation across our Nebraska operations.

This hourly, entry level role partners with site teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce workplace risks through training, inspections, and investigations. You will assist with safety programs, conduct routine inspections, help track corrective actions, deliver toolbox talks, and support incident investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred; or 1–3 years related experience.
• Prior safety, construction, or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in routine safety inspections and site safety planning.
• Track corrective actions from inspections, audits, and investigations; maintain records.
• Assist with incident investigations and data collection; document findings.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, and safety training.
