Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of safety experience in construction, skilled trades, or a related industry where safety was a primary responsibility.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Construction and/or General Industry).
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance, professionalism, and quality of work.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for positions requiring driving.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and cultivate a strong safety culture within assigned districts and regions.
  • Partner directly with technicians, supervisors, and leaders to positively influence safe work behaviors and decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for safety-related questions, concerns, and compliance issues.
  • Support and complete customer safety prequalification requirements and related documentation.
  • Administer and monitor safety compliance training programs to ensure organizational and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and accuracy of safety records and EHS systems.
  • Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs, including OSHA-related training, lift certifications, confined space, fall protection.
  • Conduct safety meetings and support ongoing employee education initiatives.
  • Perform jobsite inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development and documentation of Pre-Job Safety Surveys, Safety Audits, Root Cause Analyses, and Corrective Action Plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to operations teams regarding safe work practices.
  • Support special projects and company-wide EHS initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
