Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Safety Specialist to coordinate field safety programs on industrial and data center projects. You will conduct site inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations, while supporting safety committees and orientation programs.

The role requires 0–2 years of construction experience and a Bachelor’s in safety/health or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 0–2 years construction or related experience required.
• Ability to perform work accurately, communicate effectively, and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits and document findings, recommending abatement measures.
• Oversee new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Support project safety programs and participate in safety meetings and committees.
