Job summary

ValSource Inc. is seeking a Field Safety Representative to join our Safety Division on a full-time basis at three locations (Conshohocken, PA; Elkton, VA; Rahway, NJ).

You will provide owner safety oversight during construction, turnover, and startup activities, support high-risk work planning, and assist with incident investigations to ensure safety excellence across pharmaceutical and biotech projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Third-party safety certification (CHST, COSS, CSP) preferred.
• OSHA 510 and 30-Hour Construction Safety Outreach Training required.

Responsibilities

• Review, tracking, and approval of job safety analyses and pre-task safety plans.
• Administer client-specific hazardous work permit processes and logs.
• Conduct safety orientations for contractors and safety training documentation.
• Review Daily Safe Plans of Action and ensure safety program compliance.
• Maintain safety metrics, audits, and incident investigations as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to uphold best-in-class site safety.
