Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• 2+ years of occupational safety and health experience preferred.
• Electrical or construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing work environments and safety practices to prevent injuries.
• Support implementation of safety policies aligned with OSHA and local standards.
• Visit jobsites to observe operations, monitor compliance, and encourage hazard recognition.
• Notify management of safety violations and help ensure corrective actions.
• Provide field crews with safety signs, barriers, and equipment.
• Respond to safety questions from employees and supervisors.
• Participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in preparing accident reports and insurance claims.
• Ensure safety equipment is present and functioning.
• Support safety records documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety orientations for new hires.
• Deliver on-the-job training in areas such as aerial lift and forklift.
