Job summary

Pieper Electric is seeking a Safety Specialist to support development, coordination, and implementation of safety programs across jobsites. You will review work environments, enforce safety standards, and assist with accident investigations to drive zero-incident outcomes.

Responsibilities include training new hires, coordinating safety talks, and ensuring documentation compliance. OSHA 30 certification and a safety-focused mindset are required to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of occupational safety and health experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in review, evaluation, and analysis of work environments to prevent injuries.
• Support safety policy implementation per OSHA and local standards.
• Visit jobsites to observe operations and monitor compliance.
• Notify management of safety violations and support corrective actions.
• Provide safety signs and materials to control access to hazards.
• Participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in documentation for accident reports and safety reviews.
