Concrete Strategies LLC is seeking a Safety Performance & Risk Manager to blend hands-on safety leadership with company-wide employee injury support, occupational health coordination, and risk management. Based at our St.

Louis shop, you’ll support shop, pump truck, and hydro-vac operations while coordinating safety across nationwide sites. You will lead safety programs, manage return-to-work and modified-duty processes, coordinate medical resources, and ensure accurate incident records.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety requirements.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, field observations, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Ability to work effectively with craft employees, supervisors, equipment operators, and operational leadership.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive responsibilities independently.
• Clear communication and the ability to build relationships and drive accountability across departments.
• Experience reviewing safety and incident documentation and handling confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn safety, claims, scheduling, and tracking systems.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the position’s travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead local safety support in the St. Louis shop and support pump truck and hydro-vac operations through project visits, inspections, hazard identification, pre-task planning, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Coordinate modified duty and return to work with employees, leaders, Safety, Insurance/Claims, and medical providers to coordinate appropriate work assignments and track restrictions.
• Identify and coordinate occupational medicine providers and emergency medical resources for nationwide projects, including remote locations.
• Coordinate respirator fit testing, track required medical evaluations and documentation and help develop accurate physical job-demand profiles.
• Review injury and incident packets, coordinate missing information with project safety teams, and maintain confidential records with Insurance/Claims.
• Assist with formal root cause analysis, help onboard new safety professionals, and provide backup coordination for drug and alcohol testing.
• Track open items, communicate deadlines and compliance gaps, and work across departments to ensure responsibilities are completed.
