Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for evaluating safety conditions in the field and/or Division through auditing and monitoring, advising management on findings, and communicating the company’s safety programs. The incumbent coordinates, communicates, and maintains TEAM’s safety programs, ensuring compliance with company, client, and governmental safety rules at the jobsite.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and legal regulations, and alerting others to potential hazards.
  2. Perform all duties as assigned, adhering to TEAM’s Core Values.
  3. Provide safety guidance to jobsite supervisors.
  4. Resolve safety concerns promptly in the field.
  5. Communicate safety updates to management and clients.
  6. Conduct routine safety inspections and document activities.
  7. Investigate and report work-related injuries and accidents, maintaining records.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety and technical training requirements.
  9. Maintain adequate supplies of approved PPE.
  10. Review and assist with maintaining OSHA logs and summaries.
  11. Conduct driver training and maintain records.
  12. Assist with Field Evaluations and Job Safety Analysis audits, maintaining related files.
  13. Perform vehicle inspections and ensure safety compliance.
  14. Conduct safety meetings and ensure all safety inspections are completed.
  15. Maintain current safety, training, and QA manuals and aids.
  16. Assist with customer PQF forms and compliance audits.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Associate’s degree in health, safety, or environmental discipline preferred.
  3. 2-4 years of safety experience in an industrial setting.
  4. OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent required.
Work Conditions
  1. Based out of a District location with field duties in indoor and outdoor environments.
  2. Interaction with employees, supervisors, and clients.
  3. Work around machinery with noise exposure, requiring safety equipment.
  4. Travel to multiple job sites and tolerate climate changes.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  1. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  2. Walk, climb, and communicate effectively.
  3. Perform routine office duties with manual dexterity.
  4. Travel as needed, maneuver within plant environments, and access elevated areas.
