Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking a Safety Officer to enhance safety programs across client sites and internal operations. The role involves conducting audits, trainings, and risk assessments while promoting a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Travel to client sites as needed; familiarity with OSHA standards preferred; collaborate with project managers and field staff to drive proactive safety, incident investigations, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a safety-related role (utilities, construction, telecom, or industrial environments preferred)
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Conduct safety audits, job site inspections, and risk assessments for internal operations and client sites
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and documentation
• Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and educational materials to employees and clients
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, NFPA, and other applicable safety regulations
• Maintain safety records, reports, and metrics; assist with regulatory reporting as needed
• Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and client leadership to reinforce a culture of safety
• Serve as a safety resource for questions, guidance, and best practices
