Job summary

Right Traffic is seeking a Safety Officer to develop and monitor safety programs, conduct field audits, and help ensure OSHA and environmental compliance across multiple sites. The role involves hands-on work in field environments with significant travel.

The position emphasizes promoting a strong safety culture, supporting field teams, and implementing practical safety controls aligned with company standards. Travel across the United States is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of safety-related work in construction or field settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety.
• Experience inspecting sites, identifying hazards, and documenting findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in field environments with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs and training.
• Promote hazard identification, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Support leadership in reinforcing safety expectations and accountability.
• Ensure environmental compliance for field operations, including spill prevention and waste handling.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training on hazard awareness, emergency response, and safe work practices.
• Engage with frontline teams to reinforce safe behaviors and compliance.
• Support onboarding and refresher safety training initiatives.
