Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee field safety across underground utility and earthwork projects in Dallas, TX. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, OSHA compliance, and strong incident documentation.

The position begins as a contract with 1099 terms and travel between 14 crews across several sites. A company vehicle and laptop are provided, with potential for permanent W2 placement.

Formación

• OSHA 500 certification required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• 2+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience with excavation, trenching, confined-space, underground utility, and/or earthwork operations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide field safety oversight for underground utility and earthwork construction activities.
• Support approximately 14 crews across multiple projects.
• Travel between active projects to conduct safety inspections and field observations.
• Monitor excavation, trenching, confined-space, and grading operations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and jobsite safety meetings.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements and project safety procedures.
• Work with field personnel and project leadership to reduce hazards.
• Maintain safety inspection, observation, and incident documentation.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective-action follow-up.
• Communicate safety requirements effectively in English and Spanish.
