Job summary

EnRetro Power Generation Services is seeking a Health & Safety Professional to support outage safety across the United States. This field-intensive role involves working directly with craft personnel, supervision, project leadership, and customers in fast-paced outage environments.

Expect to spend roughly 90% of the day in the field, observing work, coaching crews, and communicating conditions to project leadership.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Outreach completed — proof required.
• Experience in power generation outages or high-hazard environments.
• Practical experience with LOTO / hazardous-energy control.
• Knowledge of confined space, hot work, fall protection, PPE, and pre-job planning.
• Experience supporting incident or near-miss investigations.
• Strong field communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work with craft personnel, supervisors, and customers; willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety observations and work-area walkdowns.
• Participate in daily turnover meetings and pre-job briefs.
• Review JHAs/JSAs and planned work for hazard controls.
• Monitor LOTO and hazardous-energy-control activities.
• Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
• Stop-work when unsafe conditions are observed; elevate concerns as needed.
