Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a Supervisor Safety to lead frontline safety across mining, processing, and maintenance at Pilgangoora operations. You will mentor Safety Advisors, implement the WHS Operating System and drive safe, reliable performance in a 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

You will monitor compliance with legislation, codes, and internal standards while coaching leaders and workers in risk controls, incident learning and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS or equivalent qualification.
• Current White Card and valid driver licence.
• Experience leading safety programs in mining or high‑hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based safety support across mining, processing, maintenance and projects.
• Coach Safety Advisors; assign work and ensure effective rostering.
• Monitor adherence to WHS legislation, codes, and PLS standards.
• Conduct inspections, risk-based audits and critical control verifications.
• Investigate incidents, develop corrective actions and close follow‑ups.
• Support contractor safety, emergency readiness and continuous improvement.
