Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a Senior Onsite Safety Coordinator for the Critical Projects Group to lead safety on active projects across North Georgia, with travel to out-of-state sites as needed. You’ll report daily to project sites and partner with Superintendents, subcontractors, and safety leadership to drive results in safety performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction safety experience (preferred).
• OSHA 500 certification and First Aid/CPR training.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Demonstrates leadership, confidence and sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to coach, mentor and influence teams at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite safety professional, supporting Superintendents and project teams.
• Oversee and enforce OSHA regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Conduct and document weekly safety inspections and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Identify hazards, perform daily risk assessments, and take corrective action as needed.
• Act as a competent person onsite with authority to stop work."
• Review subcontractor safety programs for alignment with project standards.
• Lead toolbox talks, Stretch & Flex, and daily safety meetings with team.
