Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to take ownership of field operations on active projects in Georgia. You will lead crews, coordinate subs, manage safety, schedule, and quality while collaborating with Project Managers and customers to keep work on track.

You are a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of concrete construction, strong communication, and the ability to plan ahead in fast-paced environments. On-site presence required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specs.
• Proven experience leading field personnel and coordinating subcontractors.
• Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all field operations, with safety, production, and quality as priorities.
• Uphold high safety standards for the team and subcontractors on-site.
• Serve as a key contact with client representatives, communicating status and issues.
• Supervise field personnel, providing leadership and training.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and tools to meet specs.
• Maintain field documentation: daily reports, time records, safety checks.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and internal teams to align resources.
