Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a Field Safety Supervisor to monitor safety and health compliance across field assignments. The role provides technical support to plant personnel and works with project teams to ensure regulatory adherence and safe operations.

The supervisor enforces safety programs, develops training, and coordinates safety reviews while staying current with federal and state OSHA standards. This exempt role requires travel as needed and an established safety background.

Qualifications

• Construction or millwright experience required or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and programs.
• Ability to develop and coordinate safety training.
• Familiarity with process hazard analyses and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and health programs and policies.
• Identify training needs and coordinate safety training.
• Maintain corporate safety library and records.
• Audit practices and records for compliance.
• Support product/process reviews for safety considerations.
