FiberTel, LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator for its Portland, OR office to plan, implement, and evaluate the safety program across office and field settings, ensuring OSHA compliance and environmental requirements. DOE payscale.

The role requires coordinating with facilities and risk management, performing on-site inspections, and ensuring regulatory adherence with a preference for electrical utility safety experience. A company vehicle and gas card are provided.

Competenze

• Background in electrical utility, telecom, and/or construction safety highly preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in occupational employee health and safety required.
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations related to health, safety and site control.

• Ensure that federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and codes are observed
• Conduct on-site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and work practices

• Participating in emergency planning and business continuity coordination with facilities and risk management.
• This position includes a work vehicle and gas card to facilitate travel.
