Job summary

Senneca is seeking a Site Services Installation Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce the company safety program at construction sites. You will coordinate with the EHS Manager, Site Supervisor, and GC to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.

You will conduct daily inspections, identify hazards, and enforce safety plans, while maintaining records and supporting incident investigations and training as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2–5 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required.
• OSHA 510 or 511, or equivalent training, preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in hazard recognition within the Company’s scope of work.
• Understanding of GC controlled jobsite safety coordination.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass DMV checks.
• Experience with MS Office and construction-related tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and operations.
• Identify, correct, and document hazards related to fall protection, elevated work, material handling, rigging, scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, forklifts, and telehandlers.
• Immediately address unsafe conditions involving personnel or equipment.
• Coordinate hazard mitigation with the EHS Manager and GC safety team.
• Enforce compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and site safety plans.
• Support subcontractor safety programs and GC safety requirements.
• Participate in incident investigations and ensure timely reporting.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analyses and Activity Hazard Analyses.
• Support emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Verify training and operator qualifications.
• Maintain inspection reports and training records.
