Job summary

SP+ in Houston is seeking a Field Safety Manager to support the Corporate Safety function by developing regional safety programs and leading implementation with regional leadership. The role focuses on reducing losses through on-site visits, incident reviews, and training delivery while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and SP+ policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
• 4+ years of safety & health compliance experience or equivalent operational experience.
• Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas and metrics into simple, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to analyze workplace incidents and suggest alternative methods to prevent injury in the future.
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Corporate Safety to develop regional safety programs.
• Reduce claims through onsite visits and root cause analysis.
• Analyze risk information and prioritize safety initiatives.
• Deliver safety training according to SP+'s requirements.
• Track regional claims and report safety metrics.
