Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety programs on construction sites and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires OSHA certifications, incident prevention focus, and training delivery to crews; travel may be required. This position emphasizes safety policy adherence, inspections, and maintaining training records.

Qualifications

• OSHA-500 or OSHA-501 certification required.
• 3+ years recent experience in construction safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA/state/federal safety regulations and electrical construction practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain driving qualifications per Fleet Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training on safety, technical skills, compliance with safety policies, accident prevention techniques, and operation of motorized equipment.
• Delivers OSHA 10 & 30 certification, new employee orientation, and other safety trainings as required.
• Provides IES fleet safety training to all drivers.
• Develops and prepares training materials and presentations.
• Maintains tracking database on each employee's training.
• Participates in safety inspection processes; helps management ensure violations are corrected promptly.
• Maintains safety files in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Travel may be required.
