Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Safety Representative to lead site safety programs at Channelview, TX. You will educate project staff on safety requirements and best practices to prevent incidents and ensure adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include field coaching, safety training, incident reporting, and collaboration with customer and subcontractor teams. A valid Driver’s License, TWIC, and NCCER-Safety Tech certification are required; 4 years of safety experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site safety programs on maintenance/construction projects.
• 4 years of maintenance and construction safety experience.
• Certifications and licenses as listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site safety program on assigned projects.
• Educate project staff on safety requirements and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies.
• Create safety reports and incident investigations as needed.
• Lead safety training and orientations aligned with project needs.
• Assist in staff safety training and subcontractor development.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and subcontractors.
