Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking a Safety Professional to observe and evaluate work sites, respond to incidents, and support injury management and safety program implementation. You will partner with operations to identify hazards, coach employees on safe practices, and drive a proactive safety culture.

You will spend about 80% of your time in the field, conducting investigations, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement across safety and fleet policies.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal, written, analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Must hold all required Department of Transportation qualifications for assigned territory and a valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and quality program performance to ensure effectiveness.
• Complete FIRs, pre-cons and client feedback.
• Review facilities for general safety, including fire and emergency procedures.
• Develop content for safety programs and assist with execution.
• Perform incident investigations and report findings.
• Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices in the field.
• Travel to field sites; anticipate 80% of time in the field.
• Support RISK department projects and process improvement.
