McKee Utility Contractors, LLC is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to lead safety activities on construction projects and ensure OSHA and client requirements are met. You will work closely with project leadership, field crews, subcontractors, and inspectors to promote a strong safety culture and reduce risk on site.

The role requires 3+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in safety management for construction projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite hazard controls.
• Experience with excavation, underground utilities, water/wastewater a plus.
• OSHA 30 required; higher certifications preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in the field with crews and subcontractors.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain project safety plans.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Identify unsafe conditions and work with supervision to correct them.
• Lead daily/weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and client requirements.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, logs, permits, and reports.
• Coordinate safety training and certifications for staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor PPE use and enforce safety standards.
• Support pre-task planning and risk mitigation with project management.
• Participate in client safety meetings and represent the company.
• Promote a proactive safety culture focused on accountability.
