Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Project Safety Manager in Greensboro, NC, to lead safety for electrical installation and utility construction on a large data center project. You will oversee multiple Safety Technicians and coordinate with project leadership to maintain safety standards across all phases.

The role requires hands-on field leadership, strong communication, and experience with NFPA 70/70E and JHA processes. Overtime and per diem are provided for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the listed qualifications.
Experience in data center construction is preferred.
Active safety certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

Provide daily safety leadership for electrical installation and utility construction activities.
Supervise and mentor onsite Safety Technicians.
Maintain a visible presence in active work areas and conduct site inspections.
Review JHAs, permits, and pre-task plans; ensure OSHA/NFPA compliance.
Coordinate safety with project management, supervision, and client representatives.
Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
