Kiewit is seeking a Safety Intern to participate in building and upholding our Project Safety Program. This hands-on role offers real-world learning in policies, procedures, and safety culture across North America.

You will assist in monitoring activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audits and training while gaining exposure to project sites and safety leadership. Travel and relocation may be required.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, Construction Management, or a related field of study.
• Knowledge of construction safety, OSHA requirements preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers; MS Word and Excel experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail; ability to recognize discrepancies.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing and monitoring the Project Safety Program and site safety policies.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with regulations, state/provincial, client and company policies.
• Provide corrective action recommendations and assist in safety audits and training.
• Travel and relocate as required for projects; work in varying environments.
