Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel-based templates, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of the company Safety & Health Program
• Learn applicable safety and health regulations and how to implement them
• Become familiar with the construction process
• Assist the Project Superintendent with site safety orientation and training
• Be visible in the field for safety observations
• Assist in the development and review of Activity Hazard Analysis
• Assist the project team in conducting project safety audits
• Assist the project team with accident and/or near miss investigations
• Attend awareness level safety courses and other construction related courses
• Perform periodic inspections such as fire extinguishers, ladders, first aid kits, etc.
