Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc in Atlanta is seeking a Safety Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 (May–August). This full-time internship exposes undergraduates to construction-site safety, assisting the Safety Manager and coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents on health and safety matters at Mission Critical sites.

You will spend 70–80% of your time in the field, conduct site safety audits, train craft workers, review subcontractor safety submittals, and support a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field.
• Willingness to work 40 hours/week for a 2–3 month term.
• Interest in construction safety programs and site inspections.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in implementing Ryan Safety Program.
• Review subcontractor safety submittals.
• Conduct site safety audits and trainings.
• Promote safe work practices with field crews.
• Spend 70–80% of time at the field site.
