Ryan Companies in Atlanta, GA is offering a Project Engineer Intern position for 2027. The internship runs May–August, Spring Co‑op January–August, or Fall Co‑op May–December.

You will assist the project team, learning construction industry processes, budgets, scheduling, and safety while aligning with Ryan's policies.

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor's in construction engineering/management, be able to work 40 hours weekly for at least three months, and read contracts and drawings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or related field
• Able to work 40 hours/week for at least a three-month term
• Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to read and understand contracts, specs, and drawings
• Clear oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders
• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety
