Ryan Companies US Inc is seeking a Safety Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in the Phoenix area. The role supports the Safety Manager, works with Project Managers and Superintendents, and spends most time at the field site.

You will assist with implementing the Ryan Safety Program, train craft workers, review subcontractor safety submittals, and conduct site-safety audits. The internship runs May through August for full-time undergraduates pursuing safety-related degrees.

Competenze

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, safety management, construction safety sciences or related field.
• Within 6 months to 2 years of graduating with a four-year degree in a safety-related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for a two- to three-month term.
• Strong communication and training skills are required.

Mansioni

• Assist Project Management Team in establishing and implementing Ryan Safety and Site Safety Program.
• Assist Project Management and Superintendent in obtaining and reviewing Subcontractor Safety submittals.
• Ensure that the Ryan Safety Program is kept up to date and compliant.
• Provide training to craft workers on safe work procedures and site safety.
• Conduct and document site-safety audits/inspections and report findings.
