Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc in Texas is seeking a Safety Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist the Safety Manager in implementing the Ryan Safety Program and work with Project Managers and Superintendents on health and safety on site.

You will spend 70–80% of time in the field and 20–30% in the office, with a pay range of $20–$25 per hour. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety-related field and be available May through August.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety-related field.
• Graduating within 6 months to 2 years with a four-year degree in a safety-related field.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for a two to three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in implementing Ryan Safety Program.
• Assist project team in reviewing subcontractor safety submittals.
• Ensure Ryan Safety Program is up to date.
• Conduct and document site-safety audits/inspections.
• Provide training on safe work procedures.
• Spend 70% to 80% of time on the field; 20% to 30% in the office.
